image3Kate A. deLeon

Born in Baltimore City and raised in the north Baltimore region, Kate has lived most of her life on the corridor of Charles Street from the Inner Harbor to Lutherville and points beyond. She lived briefly in the Virgin Islands and Europe as well. She has a love of the arts, cooking, American antique furniture, and, oddly, farming, as her grandfather was a farmer and cattle breeder.

She has had a varied and successful career as a concierge, wine steward, office administrator in healthcare, and retailer; most recently as part of the management team for IKEA. Her current incarnation is a career in home sales, real estate investment, and property management. All of these occupations have the same thing in common, taking care of people. Kate will dedicate her knowledge and care to her clients, making the difference between buying a house to buying a home. “It is not about what it is. It is about what it can become.” Dr. Seuss

I followed two of my three daughters and their families to Baltimore, after a long successful career in Connecticut, where I managed and owned award winning offices for many years, while raising our family.  I have been a licensed broker for over 40 years, and have trained and assisted countless agents in their long successful careers.
Highly energetic and motivated, this field is a natural for me.  I enjoy meeting and interacting with all of the diverse people I meet and helping them to easily transition into a new home.  Years of experience, a solution oriented approach, along with good old common sense, are what I offer my clients.  I enjoy my leisure time with 9 grandchildren, duplicate bridge playing and volunteering with service groups.
